For youth athletes · Every sport

The 3-minute rep
to turn youth athletes
into clutch performers

Want them to play their best? Reach their potential? Make the top team?

It doesn't happen on social media, or even in practice. It happens in the six-inch space between their ears. That's what separates the ones who deliver from the ones who almost do.

Mental strength is not optional, but it is trainable. Most of their competition still hasn't worked that out.

Who this is for

The talent is there.
The rest is trainable.

If you're the parent of a youth athlete with big talent and even bigger aspirations, The Daily Rep was built for you. It's a competitive edge that shows up in the big moments, in sports and in life.

For most youth athletes, the goal is to go from talent and potential, to clutch and achieved. Sometimes, the only difference is the mental strength to push through.

Most importantly, the kid who learns to reset after a mistake at fifteen becomes the adult who does it at thirty. That part outlives every season they'll ever play.

The Daily Rep

The advantage

The Daily Rep

365 three-minute stories. One a day. To build mental strength.

Short stories, not lessons

They finish one and want the next. There's no workbook and nothing to hand in.

It stacks

Each day builds on the previous. A feed can't do that. Every video starts from zero.

Meets them where they are

The Daily Rep lives on the phone that's already in their hand. Nothing to carry, nothing to remember, nothing to leave in a locker.

“He loves it, and it's definitely written in a tone that is more peer-to-peer than coach-player.”

Why this book actually works

They will actually finish it

Most books like this get opened once. This one gets finished, because it's written in a voice they trust, it never feels like an assignment, and they can feel themselves picking things up as they go.

It's a sequence, not a shuffle

Twelve months in a deliberate order. You can't build confidence on evidence they never collected.

Written peer-to-peer

Not coach-to-player. Not parent-to-kid. Nothing in it talks down to them, which is why they keep going.

They get attached

Nine kids their age, followed across the whole year. They start caring what happens to them, which is why they keep coming back.

You do nothing

You don't have to nag them, check on them, or read it alongside them. Hand it over and stay out of the way.

“It doesn't feel like homework. I actually ended up reading 2–3 stories most nights.”

From parents

“100% recommend. My daughter is about 4 months through. I ask her about the stories she's reading and she tells me enough details for me to know that she's benefitting from it.”

One idea for them.
One for you.

A short email each week: something to try with your athlete, and something for the sideline. No pitch.

How it works

Three minutes.
In the morning, on the
bus, or before bed.

01

One short story a day

A real athlete, a piece of science, or one of nine kids their age they follow across the year.

02

The lesson is inside the story

They finish it and the point has already landed. There's nothing to study.

03

Twelve months, in order

Each month builds on the one before it, and each story on the one before that. This is a program, not a collection.

Who wrote it

Fredrik Nilsson

Following a 10-year soccer career in Europe, Fredrik has been engaged in youth sports as a coach and as the father of two athletes: a son who plays competitive soccer and a daughter who plays competitive volleyball.

He wrote The Daily Rep after being unable to find a mental strength book that would resonate with his kids and players.

“I wanted a book that was impactful and effective, but easy and fun for my teenagers to read. A book they can actually learn from and grow from, without it feeling like homework.”

Questions

What age is this for?

Athletes 13–18. Younger strong readers manage fine. The language never talks down, which is the point.

Does it work for our sport?

Yes. The nine kids they follow play soccer, track, swimming, baseball, hockey, golf, tennis, gymnastics, and volleyball, because none of these skills are sport-specific.

How do they read it on a phone?

Open the EPUB in Apple Books (iPhone) or Google Play Books (Android). Both come preinstalled. A PDF is included too.

Do they have to read it every day?

No, and they won't. Missing a day costs a day. Deciding they've blown it costs the year. The book says exactly that.

Do I need to read it with them?

No. The Parent's Guide is the part for you, and most of its advice is about staying out of the way.

Why buy here instead of Amazon?

The Parent's Guide is only included here.
